Dear,

A Living Storybook
The Event
Where history
meets imagination
Presented by ANIMA Initiative, VENIA's Dear, Sincerely transforms Travel Town Museum into a living storybook — a place where history and imagination meet through immersive storytelling, engaging activations, artist installations, augmented and virtual reality experiences, live music, dance performances, food, and live entertainment.
"What does it feel like to experience the emotional arc of the last goodbye, and the first hello — as if walking through a fantastical vision of the Industrial Revolution, rooted in memories of others while carrying your own?"
For one day only, lose yourself amidst the backdrop of train travel as a metaphor for migration, and how all our different stories developed Los Angeles into a city worth inspiring new dreams — culminating in a theatrical runway presentation by VENIA to close the evening.

6:00 PM — Runway Presentation
The event takes its name from VENIA's theatrical runway collection. Drawing on the metaphor of train travel — migration, memory, departure, arrival — the show closes the day's journey with a fashion narrative that is at once deeply personal and universally resonant.
Each look is a letter. Each model, a messenger. The final look, a declaration: that Los Angeles was built by people who arrived from everywhere, carrying everything.
