Presented by ANIMA Initiative, VENIA’s Dear, Sincerely transforms Travel Town Museum into a living storybook — a place where history and imagination meet through immersive storytelling, engaging activations, artist installations, augmented and virtual reality experiences, live music, dance performances, food, and live entertainment.
“What does it feel like to experience the emotional arc of the last goodbye, and the first hello — as if walking through a fantastical vision of the Industrial Revolution, rooted in memories of others while carrying your own?”
For one day only, lose yourself amidst the backdrop of train travel as a metaphor for migration, and how all our different stories developed Los Angeles into a city worth inspiring new dreams — culminating in a theatrical runway presentation by VENIA to close the evening.

From two in the afternoon until the final runway look, every hour of Dear, Sincerely is carefully orchestrated to move you — emotionally, physically, and artistically. Arrive early. Stay for everything.
Doors Open — Full Program Begins
Travel Town Museum opens its gates and transforms into a living storybook. Explore artist installations, interactive demo booths, and Venia's Bazaar marketplace across the grounds. Enjoy on site food trucks, including: Pizza 120, Alika's Grindz, Dark & Steamy Coffee and Quickies Handcrafted Cookies.
Live Performances & Interactive Activations
Los Angeles artists take the stage and the grounds for live performances — spanning dance, sound, movement, and multidisciplinary work. Interactive demo booths offer hands-on engagement alongside the performances.
Train Tours with the Travel Town Foundation
Step inside history. The Travel Town Foundation leads guided tours of the interiors of the museum's historic locomotives, a rare opportunity to explore these iconic rail cars up close and discover the stories they carry.
Open Exploration & Evening Transition
Continue exploring immersive installations, AR/VR experiences, and artist activations throughout the venue. Food trucks remain open. A quiet hour to absorb the world that's been built around you.
VENIA's Dear, Sincerely — Runway Show
The evening culminates in a theatrical fashion runway presentation by VENIA. A narrative-driven showcase closing the day's journey through memory, migration, and the space between goodbye and hello.

The event takes its name from VENIA’s theatrical runway collection. Drawing on the metaphor of train travel — migration, memory, departure, arrival — the show closes the day’s journey with a fashion narrative that is at once deeply personal and universally resonant.
Each look is a letter. Each model, a messenger. The final look, a declaration: that Los Angeles was built by people who arrived from everywhere, carrying everything.
